The Oakhurst Recovery Program (ORP) is located in Decatur, Georgia, and offers free, long-term
residential treatment for homeless men with drug or alcohol addiction. Since our conception over 25 years ago, our goal has been to restore new life to participants by treating the underlying causes of chemical dependence, as well as addiction’s impact on one’s emotional, intellectual, and spiritual wellbeing.
ORP is seeking candidates for a part-time counselor position who have a passion for serving others. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work and have experience working with those overcoming addiction. Current Georgia full, associate and those seeking licensure in clinical social work or licensed professional counseling are invited to apply. This position is flexible and can include a combination of weekdays and weekends. Compensation will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
