TITLE: Residential Manager

 

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: MRC, Traditions, or RSU Program Director

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) or licensing as a counselor in the state of Georgia (e.g. LAPC, LPC, LMSW), or Counselor in Training (CIT) through GACA.

RESPONSIBILITES

1. Facilitate Community Groups and other assigned groups for clients in Intensive Residential Program (IRP) and/or Extended Recovery Residences (ERR).
2. Individual counseling with clients on caseload, as assigned.
3. Responsible for completing progress and group notes for all clients on caseload.
4. Communicate client progress and issues daily and/or weekly with treatment staff.
5. Participate as a member of the Treatment Team in development of Treatment Plans, and Phase I and II reviews.
6. Process Therapeutic Leaves, privileges and client issues with treatment staff.
7. Hold clients accountable for following rules and regulations. Processes rule violations with clients.
8. Supervises Residential Assistants and ensures completion of residential checklist in each residence to ensure compliance with JCAHO and ORS requirements.
9. Ensures routine random contraband checks are completed in each residence.
10. Inform all clients of any schedule changes and plans recreational outings or special events.
11. Oversee the completion of fire drills and disaster drills. Document and report findings to Program Director and/or Compliance Officer.
12. Schedule and monitor completion of client drug screens after therapeutic leaves.
13. Monitor supply and maintenance needs in assigned communities and call in maintenance requests.
14. Perform On-call duties as scheduled.
15. Responsible for orientation for clients admitting into the Women’s Residential Program to include review of program rules and orientation guidelines.
16. Responsible for development of client contracts and setting of recovery goals within the therapeutic community.
17. Responsible for inspecting client belongings at admission or delegating this task to a Residential Assistant.
18. Responsible for facilitating Friday Weekend Planning and Monday Weekend Review groups at the Women’s Recovery Center as part of the day treatment schedule
19. Participate in support of Family Workshops as needed
20. Documentation Requirements:a. Orientation of new clients in first 24-48 hours
b. Completion of contract with community on 3rd Monday in community meeting
c. Group notes weekly for all residential groups
d. Weekly progress review notes on all clients in Phase II
e. Monthly Treatment Plan Reviews on all Phase II clients
f. Phase II reviews
g. Discharge summaries on all Phase II clients on caseload completed within two weeks post-discharge
