The Board of Directors approved changes to the certification policies and procedures regarding legal status.
Applicant must be cleared of all criminal charges / misdemeanors and/or felonies, and probation and/or requirements prior to applying for certification. All individuals will be required to submit a G.C.I.C. Criminal Background report to the Certification Committee. All applicants must be free, clear and have completed all the terms of the Department of Community Supervision ie: completed and discharged from parole/probation before applying for certification
New Requirements for CACI Effective April 1, 2020
The Board of Directors approved changes to the certification policies and procedures in accordance with ethical, professional and legal standards. All counselors in good standing as of March 31, 2019 will be exempt from new requirements. Starting April 1, 2019, changes to the certification policies and procedures include :
