CAC Certification Application & Testing Deadlines

New Applications for CACI and CACII are reviewed by the Certification Committee at their monthly meeting on the second Saturday of each month. Upon application approval, the candidate will be sent instructions and deadlines to register and pay for the NCC AP written examination.  All testing candidates must be pre-approved to be eligible to test. All testing candidates must register through the online testing site, but now have the opportunity to test sooner as the testing period is now monthly.  However, candidates who are unsuccessful upon testing must follow the GACA testing eligibility policy.  Applicants who are unsuccessful upon initial testing or subsequent testing, will be notification of discrepancies and instructions to proceed to complete the process of certification.

NOTE: GACA Written Testing Policy differs from that of the testing company in that eligibility to sit for each testing period is by approval by the GACA Certification Committee. At this time, individuals who have not submitted an approved CAC Application are not eligible for testing. Additionally, GACA policy limits the eligibility and number of times a candidate may take the written examination. A copy of written examination policy will be sent to each candidate with eligibility for testing along with deadline(s) for completing the testing phase of the certification process.

CCS Certification Applications
New applications for Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS) will be reviewed on the second Saturday of each month. The NCC AP Written Examination for Clinical Supervisors is required with all applications. The CCS Application can be found on the website. Once your application is approved, you will be provided instructions to complete registration for the CCS Written Exam, the final phase of CCS certification.
