At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery by providing quality behavioral health services and supports.
Summary
Under supervision, develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans.
Responsibilities
· Completes Assessments to determine appropriateness for services.
· Develops and implements behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies.
· Evaluates clients physical or mental condition based on review of client’s information.
· Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment
· Monitor, evaluate, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
· Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.
· Provides training to direct staff in implementing behavior modification techniques.
· Trains to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.
· Executes evidence-based counseling groups designed to enlighten clients on prevention and perpetuation of learned techniques, strategies, and interventions to maintain stability.
· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR certification as an addiction counselor from the Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA) or equivalent certification.
· Note: Some positions require a valid Georgia’s Driver’s License.
