Description of Duties: The individual in this role will serve as the licensed therapist and intake coordinator for the crisis stabilization unit. The focus of this program is to provide inpatient, crisis services that support individuals experiencing a mental health and/or substance abuse crisis. The CSU is utilized for individuals undergoing an acute crisis that presents a substantial risk of imminent harm to self or others. The goal is to stabilize the individual through nursing and behavioral supports on a time-limited basis. The role of the licensed therapist/intake coordinator is to provide mental health and substance abuse counseling to all individuals served in the CSU. Duties include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans (IRP), developing crisis safety plans, conducting suicide risk assessments, and conducting ANSA assessments on each individual within 72 hours of CSU admission. The intake coordinator is responsible for managing KPI records for monthly reporting and participating in weekly interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to ensure IRP goals are met and to promote continuum of care.

Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid Georgia License to practice (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, APC, LMSW, MFT. Valid, unrestricted Georgia Driver’s License. Must be computer literate.

Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years experience in behavioral health field.
