Georgia Addiction Counselors Association (GACA), a non-profit professional association of over 650 members, is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors consisting of some of Georgia's top addiction professionals. You are very important to GACA. This organization is for YOU. We need your input, your volunteer time, your voice, and suggestions. We need your presence in meetings and continuing education. We need your support in legislative matters. We need your voice to continue to battle to reduce the stigma, increase access to care, and support Treatment and Recovery.
Currently we are working on a project to bring licensing for addiction counselors. We are forming a study committee for a licensing bill to be introduced in 2018. We need your help. Your generous support will help us reach our goal. Please contribute to this important work.
We are grateful for each of our members who serve on the Board of Directors and Certification Committee. Their hard work each year makes GACA Georgia’s premier Addiction Counselor certifying body and membership organization. We could not accomplish this without the dedicated support of the GACA administrative staff.
Most importantly, we thank our members and associates. We could not do the work we do on behalf of our clients and families without your membership and continued support. We hope you find this website full of useful information. Please feel free to contact with us anytime by phone or email. Click the button below to join our email list.
